This workshop is for students and staff wishing to incorporate best practice when working with intimacy. The sessions will introduce participants to the Intimacy on Set Guidelines and the role of Intimacy Coordinator.

The workshop will include:
● A sharing of the implementation of the Intimacy on Set Guidelines. Exploring the ethics of working with intimacy, during the audition process, rehearsals and performance.
● Key insights into how to approach intimacy, simulated sex scenes and nudity.
● Considerations when working with Covid-19 Guidelines and how these will affect processes and protocols when working with intimacy.
● Focus on consolidation and implementation into practitioners’ practice, and into the wider industry.
● Q&A to answer any queries regarding the Intimacy On Set Guidelines.

Ita O'Brien is the UK’s leading Intimacy Coordinator and founder of Intimacy on Set, which provides services to TV, film and theatre when dealing with intimacy, sexual content, and nudity. Intimacy on Set was established in 2018 by Ita O’Brien in response to the growing demand for Intimacy Directors/Coordinators for Theatre, Film and Television and teaching in Drama Schools. At the heart of the organisation are the Intimacy on Set Guidelines which have been adopted widely in the industry.
