2015 is shaping up to be a very positive year for us at ActorsVision. We've just finished the first term of the year in our new space at Studio One, as of March 14th we are now running classes six days a week including the return of Kids Acting for Camera, Masterclasses with Louise Kiely and Ciaran O Grady are on the horizon again, and some of our former and current students are having high profile successes in their careers.
John Sheehy, who has just finished Acting for Camera 2, is currently part of RTE's Voice of Ireland competition, having successfully sailed through the blind audition and battle stages. Next weekend he sings again for a final place on Una Foden's live team. Please vote and support him if you can.
Former student Anthony Moriarty has continued his success recently by being cast in a Today FM commercial (below), and also landing a role in a new film production currently shooting in the UK. Anthony's first feature film, The Lobster, is due for release in May 2015 where it will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. The Lobster is directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, and features an A list cast includind Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Ben Wishaw & John C Reilly.
