In July, The BOLT students, along with graduates from the ‘Film, Video and Production’ course of St. John’s College, began production on the 5-week shoot of the feature film ‘Empire of Dirt’ (written by Darren Kelleher, Liam Byrne and Owen O’Mahoney; directed by Darren Kelleher). Shooting took place in regions all over West Cork, including Kinsale and Kealkill.

The feature film, produced by BOLT Productions, AV3 Media & Old Dispensary Productions, is slated for a late 2018 release.
